Finally, after much procrastination, my most awaited blog (by me the only one); my blog is up and on air. Finding the best title that I can ever put to set this whole thing up is a headache. My blog in short "My P.L.S" is meant for both sharing and discovery learning with everyone in the world who view and are interested in my StOrIeS. Would sincerely appreciate anyone who wish to key down any comments, ideas, feelings or whatever at the end of each "My P.L.S" master piece....

Before Help Comes

Recently there was this article publish in R.AGE by The Star on importance of first aid for everyone. It was a rare occassion to have my name on the articles.......

" The thing about first aid is this - you never know when you will need it. Mutual fund trainer Woo Chong You was on his way for aikido exam when he saw a crowd at a traffic light junction in Bandar Sri Damansara, Kuala Lumpur. A man was performing CPR on an old man who has gone unconscious.

"What I heard was the man was driving when he had a heart attack. His car banged into the car in front and people brought him out of the car.
"I told them I am trained in CPR and went in to help. The guy continued giving rescue breaths while I did the chest compressions. I was quite nervous lah... My first real life CPR," says Chong You, 27.

Five minutes later, the ambulance came. Chong You, who is a qualified first aid trainer with St John, doesn't know what happened to the old man after that, though. One thing he knows is that he might have helped to save the old man's life unexpectedly.

"Most people are scared of doing mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. Even then, we should try to help by doing compressions, at least," says Chong You. "

Wow..that's a great article on you and first aid! Well, congrats! I was once in an article in TheStar, but it was about me commenting on a Zorro film. Not too convincing, ehh?

BTW, I do know the journalist to your article - Phui Yee. She was from UPM and in my church.
